New with a '96 and have a mystery

I recently picked up a '96 in black but I haven't been able to identify is active/sport/base or color code for the interior. My seats are red leather with red cloth inserts. Anybody have any ideas?

sounds like a sport package since it has half-leather, the all red seats are a pretty rare color too

I really dig the all red, but unfortunately the cloth is stained. Going to try and go to a red suede insert.

you might be able to get it out instead of redoing the interior, just a suggestion because when I say it's rare, I mean I've seen about 3 cars on this site with it

I know because the print in the fabric is so sweet, but the tops of the rear seats is faded almost white and the stains in the front seats are bad. Scrubbed them a couple times and just barely any better.

I was able to figure out my 318ti was a sport after I registered it with BMW USA. Once I supplied the last 7 digits of the VIN, it gave me that info.
