hmm, an old saying comes to mind....

if you want something done right you have to do it yourself!

i understand some might not have time, but me personally i love working on my car, when i change my own oil i know its done right, and it gives me a piece of mind afterwards, there is no what if this wasnt done or what if that was done. there is no chnce that someone was messing around with something and broke it, etc.

and i dont trust those places for oil changes either, no jiffy lubes! and if you really think about it, most people burn up as much time if not more going to a place to have an oil change done, by the time they get there, wait, get oil changed and leave, i can have both my cars done!

I try telling this to my dad all the time but he still takes his truck to sh!ttylube. If you don't do any maintanence at all yourself, AT LEAST DO YOUR OWN OIL CHANGES!!!

I can't even get a nation wide oil place to change my oil. I called 5 places here in Bend and when I said it was a BMW all of them said go to the dealer. HA!! Screw that the dealer wants like $130 to do an oil change. I am willing to bet you can do your own oil just make time between classes and work I know there isn't a lot of free time while you're in college, but it doesn't take that long!! I promise!
