But it's pointless if you have shot shocks/struts. You have to upgrade them. Makes a ride look better visually, and people can tell that the car is lowered, but not a low rider. Cons: You have to be extra careful when you go over a bump. You bottom out easier if you're on OE shocks/struts. You have to get used to parking further away from the curb. Your bumper WILL hit the curb. But it's not a problem with the ti, since you can actually park 3 feet away from the curb, and be completely in your parking spot. So if you get lowering springs, get a upgraded shock/struts to go with it. I bottom out every now and then with my bilsteins shocks. So imagine what it would be like with OE's. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Lots of people like to roll the inner fenders, but this can lead to the paint cracking and peeling. If you are looking to improve handling, first make sure your suspension is not worn out. Bigger sway bars will make a big difference. Many people like to combine new springs with the correct new shocks/struts unless they were recently replaced. Old struts and shocks may not have equal damping. And while you're at it, replacing any bump stop type parts that are worn out is a nice thing to do as well. If you live in an area where the roads are not always race track smooth, replacing only the springs to dramatically lower the car will make it ride rough and not handle well.
