Default Help Pat save Kids with cancer!!!

Hey guys!

I and several hundred others at Rutgers University helped raise $323,717.90 last year for the Embrace Kids foundation-- a foundation who helps families with children diagnosed with cancer (often terminal). I interviewed for the position of captain and got it so my duty this year will be to both dance for all 32 hours as well as help run the event and solicit donations. I would like for us to break half a million this year and am working my hardest to hit my own goal of $3500. Last year my goal was $1000 and I hit over $700. I know it's optimistic, but if every member of this site donated $2 I would easily hit it. It's easy too-- All you have to do is enter your credit card information in and an amount. Every little bit helps! Employers will MATCH this donation so if you work for a company that can do this, please let me know and I will help you set that up.

As always, donations to this and other 501c non-profits is TAX DEDUCTABLE!

Please try to help out. If you skip out on one starbucks coffee each week, you could help donate $20 this year. Please look deep down inside and see if you could help me try to help the world.

As a side note, my experience with DM last year has driven me to go into the field of cancer research. I am now working with a renowned molecular biologist here at Rutgers and am working on an anti cancer project of my own!

You can donate here: http://www.firstgiving.com/dmpnosker

or via Paypal here: http://dmpnosker.chipin.com/rutgers-...dance-marathon

If you would like to donate via check, you can go here and print out a letter to mail in with the check: http://pnosker.com/dmletter.doc

Thanks again!

Pat Nosker

PS: Feel free to bump and keep this thread alive. I feel that this board is full of great and caring people so I'm sure we can get great stuff done.

Not directly, but you can use Paypal Virtual Debit card (http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr...stions-outside) and donate via credit card with that on FirstGiving.com

Bump! Join your 318ti brethern and help out! Think, if you just match your 318ti.org supporter membership every year, that would be hundreds and hundreds of dollars helping children with cancer!

Bump! March 22 is the last day for donations via check. I really appreciate you guys helping me out and your generosity in part has made me the #1 fundraiser for this cause. I want to try to get as close to $3500 as I can, and I know that you guys can help me do that!

Please, donate as little or as much as you can. I really really really appreciate it.

Thanks!! Pat

Bump! Please guys, help me out!!

I've met so many of you personally and know you are nice guys/girls... just scrape the change out of your pocket/purse and donate!!!

This is for such a great cause!!!!

For every donation, I will commit 1 additional hour of community service before June. I have already spent over 85 hours since Jan helping others.

THANKS!!
