Default Bosch Platinum +2 4303

I just pulled my set of Bosch Platinum +2 4303 plugs after only 1000 miles and they are already fouled. I pulled them to put cooler NGK's in. The NGK run $2 per plug apposed to $5 per plug for the Bosch. Every set of Bosch Platinum’s I've used fouled under 2k miles both in my ti and MKIII VW. Has anyone had good luck with Bosch Platinum’s?

I think I've heard that the platinum +4s (the four prong one) has been giving people a lot of trouble in the ti, my dad used them in a subaru and they worked pretty good I really don't know but free bump anyways

EDIT: I just noticed you said +2's in the thread title so ignore everything I just said except for the free bump

My dad had Bosch platinum +4 and recently threw some +2's in. He said they felt really doggish. I've never really liked Bosch plugs, but theyre so available i end up buying them. Right now i have NGK coppers that could probably use replacing. Anyone recommend good plugs?

p.s. this is in his M42 318ic
