Default Power steering pump

So I am turning left out of a Wawa parking lot when I spot a yayhoo in a truck in the right lane. I am headed for the left lane when I look and the aforementioned yayhoo was now in the left lane headed straight for me and my cousin! I turn sharp left to avoid an accident and in doing so I hit a divider that graced me with four bent rims and a busted oil pan. In trying to replace the pan the Bentley manual says that I need to remove the power steering pump and disconnect the steering shaft at the universal. My problem is that it looks like my power steering bracket and alternator bracket are one unit. Is this true or are the two separate, and if so, does anyone have a picture or something indicating which bolts to remove? Bentley's diagram for this procedure is not very accurate. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

My ti is on the lift inside my garage. I do not see the oil pan coming out without dropping the crossmember support. The power steering pump is the least of your worries in my opinion. I can shoot some pics if you need some.

When I replaced my oil filter housing gasket, I had to remove the support for the alternator. I just pulled it out of the way to avoid getting into the PS pump.
I looked thru my pics and none of them show the PS pump very well.
It looks like the pump is held on with 2 M8 x 75mm bolts. I think you will have to remove the alternator to see those bolts. If you follow the Oil Filter Housing gasket DIY up to removing the alternator, I think you will have access to the bolts which hold the PS pump on.
Good luck.

I found that you have to remove the power steering pulley and then there are two bolts behind it that hold the pump in place. Thanks for the responses though!

THREAD REVIVAL!!!

Ok, so i just finished replacing the belts on my 98ti. I had to remove the PS pulley to get the belt tensioner out. My question is when putting the pulley back on, how do I go about tightening the three bolts for the pulley??

If I remember correctly, all I did was put the pulley bolts in as tight as I could while holding the pulley by hand and then tightening them further after the belt(s) were back in place.
