depends on personal preference, personally I would get intake, clear turn signals, clear taillights, tint.

performance mods, interior/exterior mods? what types of things are you interested in doing?

personally, i would go for performance mods (handling specifically). get as many of these as possible: rear shock mounts + reinforcements, full metal ball joints, m3 control arm bushings, rear sway bar tab reinforcements (will need to be welded so you'll have labor costs above the parts cost), bigger anti-sway bars. you won't get any further than that :P

ooooo ... aceyx, good call on the x-brace. have to reorder mine with that in mind: solid metal ball joints, rear shock mounts with reinforcements, M3 offset LCABs, x-brace. probably won't get any further on $500 unless you're doing the work yourself. first two are primarily weak point pre-emptive strike and last two are more upgrades/performance.

what pieces of the M roadster suspension are you referring to?

I was just about to comment on my recent enhancements to my suspension.
Looking at my signature you can see what I added. I'm very satisfied with the results, the car feels very solid, no creaking ever, under any conditions. The car feels tight around curves, it still has some sway, but not too bad. Of course my newly added 235/45/17 wheels also help. Here is the cost breakdown. One important note is, all my suspension mods have absolutely no downsides. Going the next step and lowering it, is where some disadvantages may arise.

new x-brace>$110.00
used M-tech sways with urethane bushings>$98.00
used Racing Dynamics strut bat>$135.00
used Dunlop Sport 8000's>$275.00
new German Rial 17" rims>$500

Putting the rims and tires aside, I only spent $350.00 on my suspension. If I was to put another $150-250 into the suspension, I would go with the metal ball joints, control arm bushings and rear shock mounts.
