Default Speaker size for the normal 4 speaker system

I've kind of went through a lot of search trying to find that but no luck, I have the normal 4 speaker system not the 6 speaker system in my 1995 318ti, any one know the size for them ?

I've only found the sizes for the 6 speaker system! or is it the same 4" ?? front and back?

If you only have one speaker in the door panel, you have the 6-speaker system. One in each front kick panel (5.25"), one in each door, one in each side of the rear deck (4").

The 10-speaker 'hi-fi' system has two in each door and two in each side of the rear deck (front kick panels are the same on both).

Well, not all of the speakers may be connected or working, but that speaker configuration is how is should have come from the factory, if it had a factory stereo installed. It's not unreasonable to think that, at balanced settings, you would hear the rear deck speakers best, as they are closer to ear level than the other speakers and because of the contour of the rear of the car, would seemingly project the sound forward better. The speakers in the front kick panels are almost impossible to hear clearly and essentially provide the low-end frequencies in the sound system. You can always adjust the fader control to full-front and put your ear down there to determine if any sound is coming out.

I think the door speakers in the 6-speaker configuration are 2" or 2.5", but I'm not sure.
