my left tail light no longer works. this also happened to my 94 318is and was pulled over for it. I replaced them with euro lights after but it had the same effect. does any one know what is wrong?

this is old but I will add for anybody after the fact...the circuit boards tend to have shorts in them if you check bulbs and fuses and they all work chances are it is the board that accepts the bulbs....i had to replace my left one.
