I am considering a magnafow dual DTM tip muffler with custom 2 1/4 from the rear section boltup back for a temorary setup untill I go boosted and will have to upgrade the exhuast size. what do you guys think about it? | | | 03-15-2005, 05:31 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: huntsville, Alabama Posts: 110 | I have magnaflow and be prepared for a possibly pissed of weedeater. Also 2 1/4 may be to big because i went with a 2 1/4 and it was ok but then I went with what i have now which is 2 1/2 and there went the backpressure, no power. I am going back to the exhaust center for yet a third time to possibly see about 2" which is stock piping. I also have no cats or resonators. You will probably be alright with the sound at least if you are retaining those. You ought to try it and see how it goes. Also the sound might be more toned due to the non stright pipe since there is a cat there!
