I have magnaflow and be prepared for a possibly pissed of weedeater. Also 2 1/4 may be to big because i went with a 2 1/4 and it was ok but then I went with what i have now which is 2 1/2 and there went the backpressure, no power. I am going back to the exhaust center for yet a third time to possibly see about 2" which is stock piping. I also have no cats or resonators. You will probably be alright with the sound at least if you are retaining those. Good Luck!

really, that sucks I was planning on leaving the stock cat and removing the resonator and running the 2 1/4 from where the resonator was back to the muffler.

You might still be okay because of the resistance that the cat gives. You ought to try it and see how it goes. Also the sound might be more toned due to the non stright pipe since there is a cat there! Good Luck!
