Alternator pulley removal
So I bought a new alternator and need to remove the pulley off the old one. How do you loosen up the pulley when it just wants to spin?
Thanks in advance!

Did you try leaving the belt on? That should keep it in place.

Damnit. Totally should have tried to do it with the belt on.
I'll try it out tomorrow with the impact gun and pb blaster.

The only way I was able to get mine off was impact gun I don't know why I couldn't while the belt was on but it takes like 5 seconds to swap the pulleys with a gun
