Slot ported, 1.25 cubic foot enclosure, fits in passenger side of hatch. No modification to car neccessary. Professionally built for MTX Thunder 9500 10" woofer. So will fit just about any traditionalally mounted subwoofer (will not work with JL W7). NOTE!! the box has an MTX badge flushed into the top of the enclosure, so using another brand woofer will make the badge look out of place, unless you are using an MTX amplifier. Wrapped in high quality black vinyl. For pics see: http://www.dtmpower.net/ppost2/showp...cat/500/page/2 http://www.dtmpower.net/ppost2/showp...cat/500/page/2 Only issues: rear deck hard cover may need modification to fit, I'm not sure, I don't have one to try it with. The vinyl has two small marks on it, from stuff in my hatch bumping it during normal driving. The box will be sold alone for $450.00 + shipping or with the following sub options: with a new MTX 9500 subwoofer for $850 + shipping.(The MTX 9500 sub retails for $500 alone.) With a new MTX 8500 subwoofer for $725 + shipping. (The MTX 8500 sub retails for $350 alone.) With a new MTX 7500 subwoofer for $600 + shipping. (The MTX 7500 sub retails for $200 alone.) With a new MTX 5500 subwoofer for $550 + shipping. (The MTX 5500 sub retails for $150 alone.) Probably 2 hours of work involved. | | | 05-12-2005, 03:06 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: mass Posts: 186 | sweet bump for nasty enclosure | | | 05-26-2005, 01:47 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Lowell, Ma Posts: 61 | UPDATE! If its not, when it is done being fixed, it'll have the "M" bodywork on it. I'll find out in a day or two if the appraiser is going to total it. | | | 05-26-2005, 08:35 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Springfield, Va Posts: 164 | Damn that really sucks.
