Default So we all did not always drive BMW..

So what cars do we drive atm, or have played a great part of our lives?
Mine was a 2003 Astra mk4. Was when i lived in the UK. So it was a Vauxhal. Some people may know it as a Opel/ Holden, but anyway it was made by GM.

2003 GSI Turbo Astra
Stage 2 hybred Turbo, 11ltr intercoorer, 308mm Brakes, koni adjustales, Bailies BOV, remapped and rpm set to 7k,

275hp at the wheels and 320lbs torque. 0-70 in just under 5sec.

Its was done as a show car, and i won a few meets. As you can see it was all decked out etc.

Only sold it to come home here to Australia with the wife
And yes been from Aus living in the UK/overseas They called me "Skippy" go figure

Btw this was 7 years ago, and things you like change when you get older lol

Cool
My favorite car, prior to Zippy, was a 1967 Dodge Coronet I bought when I moved to Colorado from Oregon. It was a blast to drive!

I've only really driven 3 cars, a '97 ti active auto, a '99 ti sport 5 spd cali roof, and a '02 325ci 5 spd. Although my first two ever driving experiences at the age of 12/13 were a '93 F-150 4 on the floor and a '90 suzuki samurai 5spd . Then theres the occasional tear around in the '03 X5, '00 528i, '70 1600-2 and '68 stang. But its pretty much BMW exclusive

My first car was my 1968 BMW 1600-2. I bought it in 2007 when I was 15 (you can do the math to find out how old I am).

I saw the skippy in the back window and had to smile. Have a buddy of mine that lives in Manchester and that is his nickname. He built a car out of nothing but parts found in the trash (skips). It took him a couple of years but he got it done and it looks nice!

italicized cars are ones I still own

red 94 Ford Probe with 18" rims (technically my "first car", it was an electrical basketcase and my dad got rid of it before I got my license)

Cordobarot 95 BMW 318ti (what I have now, I consider it my first car)

green 96 Subaru Legacy wagon (only automatic car I've ever had, my dad bought it for me as a winter beater)

blue 97 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport (another winter beater, first car I bought with my own money, clutch was beyond shot and you could fit your fist through the rust holes in the quarter panels)

Alpine White 90 BMW 325ix (dad bought it for me as a new winter beater, sold it 2 weeks later because the airbag and ABS lights were on )

green 98 Subaru Legacy Outback (another winter beater, bought it with a freshly rebuilt engine for dirt cheap)

SilberGrau 04 BMW 325xi (my dad bought this for me as a nice winter car because my grades in college had been good)

BronzitBeige 84 BMW 318i (settled for it as my first track car when I couldn't find a 318ti, ran it for a couple years but it was rusted too bad so I sold it to someone I knew who turned it into an enduro car)

ArktisSilber 96 BMW 318ti (current track car)
