Don't think I've posted in here. This set is H&R Race, coilovers up front. In these pics my front was sitting about 1.75" lower than when it was on M3 Race's. Had to raise it up for school, it's 4x4 status now compared to then, but on 245's 40 18's off an 04 Mustang GT all around.

And a couple shots of H&R Races F+R. I've been thru about 8 different combos of tires in the last 3 years, so if you want to know what tire sizes I MAY have an answer, but all are 18" wheels, except the winter setup is 17's.

And for fun, I guess it's technically a drop. Snapped a leaf spring out wheeling and swapped in a stocker on the trail. Drove it home at 65 looking like that

Dialed in my ride height. This is before my swap.. D2 coils. Camber plates. Style 19 wheels. 10 mm spacer In the rear. Credit card clearance. Front is pretty perfect. Please excuse the dirty rims.

Can anyone specify spring ride heights with their drops, or comment on the following lowering options (in mm):

60/30
50/50

I'm not looking to slam the car, but want a nice lowered stance, slight rake would be nice. To give you an idea of the height I would like, I don't want the rear to tuck at all, but want to eliminate any gap, same goes for upfront.

I thought 60/30 might be the way to go for that. I recently got offered a great complete KW setup from someone local but the drop rate was 50/50 which I thought was going to be too much in the rear. Weird thing is, the guy showed me a picture of his Ti with them installed (both our cars are 323Ti's) and it didn't look like it tucked at all in the rear and seemed to be an evening lowering amount. That being said, the picture wasn't the greatest angle to judge, so I though I'll refer my question here!

On a side note, anyone here know much about DTS Sportline suspension? That is the 60/30 setup available to me at the moment. I am in Germany, and from a lot of searching I get the impression their a brand over here but have no real presence in American (earlier than with E46's).

based on your description of your expectations, I think that the Koni Yellows and HR Springs will be more than enough. Just be sure the wheel setup you get also goes well with that drop or you might be disappointed.

^ Thanks for the response, but I'm hoping to decide between the two local options available to me that I mentioned above. Hopefully I can get an idea of the ride heights to help make a decision (or various ride heights and photos to see what is what).

Also, I have a set of ACS Type II's, 17x8 ET38, that I will be mounting on the car with either 215/45's (because I bought them from a seller who had a fairly new set of Bridgestone PP's in this size already mounted on them) or going through the switch to 235/40's which is what I would have preferred.

Lowered on Kilen lowering springs, stock Sport dampers (to the best of my knowledge!). Prolly gonna swap for Bilstiens once the dampers eventually need replaced.

I have the decision to make between a 40/30 mm setup or a 60/30 mm... decisions decisions. I can't tell if a 60mm drop up front will be too low or just what I'm looking for (in which case 40mm might be not enough, or could be just right). I think 30mm in the rear is good in order to get it sporty low, with a bit of rake, and stay away from any tucking at all.

What do you Fellas think?

are you on M-Sport suspension or standard? What size wheels?
Personally I think the car looks best not dropped too far at the back. The arse is the car's key feature, might as well make the most of it

^I agree, that's why I don't want to tuck at all in the rear, and go a bit lower up front than in the rear to give the car a slight rake.

Right now my car is on stock non M-sport suspension. I will be using ACS Type II 17x8's as my wheels once I decide on and lower the car.

Last weekend I installed bav auto springs with tokico blue HP sport shocks. No more brake dive and body roll was taken care of. It dropped it 1.5" up front and 1.25" in the back.

H&R -35mm with bilstein B6 at front and KONI adjustables at rear
i could have dropped the rear more, but i really did not need more camber there due to my previous experience with E30... it was uncontrollable in fast tight corners...
