DME part number? (2 diff ones listed for '95 M42)

according to this, there are 2 thtat came on the same car, same engine, same specs... whats the difference? will one work in the other?

50(California) and 49 state emissions is the likely possibility. That or there seems to be a bunch of changes in 10/95 (My 95 is in the after 10/95 prod group) I have the M44 Oil housing for instance and the serpentine belt on both sets of pulleys.

Traction control? My Active only has Antilock... Maybe thats it? Hmm intersting puzzle.
