Post Hello everyone, new owner in PA

Hey all, I am new to the BMW world and am purchasing my first, a 1998 ti next week (down payment made). I am really excited to fix this baby up. Here is the short list of issues: It is SiennaMetallic although the clear coat is peeling pretty bad. The driver's window is off track or something. The emer. brake doesn't work at all. The hood release is broken. All of these issues I am sure I can search for help with on the forum The one problem that has me nervous a hair is the car misses slightly at speed... it moves like a champ but misses some. I am hoping a fresh set of plugs and wires might do the trick but I am completely green with this motor and don't know what else to look at/replace. Anyhow just wanted to introduce myself and get any forum tips from you folks. Thanks everyone.

Hello and welcome. There is a lot of Ti info here. Enjoy the car when you get it.

Thanks jca... I am planning on swapping plugs, air filter and now fuel filter. Testing after each one just to see which is the culprit. Could you tell me where the fuel filter is on a ti?

Thanks

Fuel Filter is underneath the car, driver's side, behind the front wheel.. Essentially, you sit above it when driving...

Thanks wolferj. I am picking it up tomorrow and plan on doing that, plugs, air filter and hood shocks first. Thanks again, I am sure I will find it.
