It is very easy to install and fits perfectly, the vertical tube design of the hitch makes it completely hidden. The hitch was installed for a couple months but never used, I also will include a ball and hitch pin for the receiver part. I have all parts and instructions and think $200 (shipping not included) would be a very fair price. | | | 01-05-2006, 03:18 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by drgeorgi I have the $300 da'lan trailer hitch made specifically for the 318ti. I'll probably just buy a multi trailer, and use the jeep to tow. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 01-06-2006, 01:21 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | i don tneed it, but im in cary nc, and go to school at nc state in raleigh...just saying hey! __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 01-06-2006, 08:24 PM | #10 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 11 | Quote: Originally Posted by robcarync i don tneed it, but im in cary nc, and go to school at nc state in raleigh...just saying hey! | Go Wolfpack! I'm a grad student there. Unfortunately you won't see mine driving around anymore. If anyone wants to buy a ti for parts there is a very nice black 1998 at Adesa Impact in Clayton, NC with some front end damage. | | | 01-07-2006, 12:23 AM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 11 | | | | 01-07-2006, 10:11 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | FWIW carrying bikes on a hitch mounted rack is a great alternantive to the roof. Let's you still get in the trunk too. Good luck with the sale! __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 01-08-2006, 06:24 PM | #13 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 11 | I forgot to mention I also have a BMW front window sun shield with case that I will throw in if anybody wants it. | | | 05-01-2006, 12:22 AM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Posts: 11 | Hitch is still for sale! Make me an offer and I'll ship it to you, I'm tired of looking at it. I wish I had a pic of it on the car so you could see how nice it fits. It is completely hidden behind the bumper, because of the vertical design; the only way you'd know it is there is to crawl under the car. | | | 05-13-2006, 02:39 AM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Raleigh, NC Posts: 17 | I'm here in Raleigh (2 time NC State grad). Do you still have the hitch? I would get a mini trailer to haul tires and things to autocrosses (more $). Does it conflict with the spare tire or anything? Thanks, Pitch __________________ Purple Turtle Power TIR (GS) Autocrossing | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
