Default FT/FS: Vogtland Sport Springs

edit: not looking to trade anymore. Selling these springs.

i have a full set of Vogtland Sport Springs. I loved these springs but my 6 cylinder conversion has forced me to get rid of them. These springs were on my car for about 2 years and were very nice for a daily driver. they are noticeably firmer than stock but not bad over bumps (and god knows OK has some of the worst roads).

these springs dropped the car about 1.4" all the way around. it was about 1.3" with Bilstein Sports (b/c Bilsteins tend to raise the car) and 1.4" with Tokicos.

price reduced:
$110 shipped. i paid $200 + shipping 2 years ago. these are just taking up space right now.

paypal or cashiers check please.

Rears

Front w/18x8

Front w/18x8.5 and stretched tires

I am very interested if you get H&R's. How's the handling vs stock springs?

this is a sport spring so the ride was still comfortable. it was noticeably firmer and they did not make your kidneys hurt.

the first time i did it, i didnt know what i was doing and it took me about 3 hours to do the front and another 1.5 for the rear. now i do the front and back in about 1.5 hours.

the front strus are the most complicated (not much). there are 3 bolts where the strut attaches to the hub assembly and 3 nuts that connect the strut assembly to the top of the strut tower. then just the center collar nut that holds the stru together. the trickiest thing is you need to borrow a 'mcpherson strut spring compressor' from Autozone if you dont have one/access to one.

the rear is the easiest thing in the world. jack up the rear of the car. unscrew the bolt that attaches the shock to the rear trailing arm. take off the nut that attaches the sway bar linkage to the rear trailing arm. push the rear trailing arm down (doesnt require much force at all). then pull the spring out. install is reverse order. because the car is lowered and i am picky about scratching up my rims, it actually takes me more time to jack the rear of my car up and take off the rims than it actually does to change the rear springs on my car.

if need be i could write up a DIY for whoever buys these.
