Default Aftermarket fenders?

Has anyone ever tried them? if so any good if not anywhere else to get cheaper than dealer fenders?

254$ a side is a bit pricey.

You could try to find someone parting out a sedan or perhaps even a ti. I doubt aftermarket fenders are going to fit as well as Genuine BMW fenders, but if new ones are out of your budget, then I'd opt for used ones. One thing to make special note of is to make sure you get fenders with the correct sidemarker cutout for your vehicle. 09/96 and later models have cutouts for the newer style sidemarker lights. If you need a left fender and want to try an aftermarket one, ecstuning has them on clearance for 27 bucks:

Wow thats cheap, still afraid though I have a set of 1996+ and new side markers but the bottoms were rusted quite bad after hours of work ( naval jelly, Wire wheel, Rust reformer paint) I still don't really want to get them painted etc and have them on my car knowing they are rusty on the bottom.

I agree with jess, find used ones or buy OEM ones. I bought an aftermarket nose panel and the fitment was terrible. Unfortunately I didn't find this out until after I paid to have it painted and ended up paying for an OEM one and paint again. Do you have a junkyard you can browse at?
