I like how it looks, how loud is it and did you make any mods to the rear to make it fit?

its not too loud. its got a nice deep sound.
i did have to cut the bumper, about 3 or 4 inches out.. but i used some black door trim so it wouldnt have the cut up look haha

It looks really good. Nice touch with the door trim, I think bumpers look tacky when they're cut. Can't wait to hear the sound clip, Magnaflows usually sound great on our cars. Best bang for the buck IMO.

idle revving does exhausts no justice anyways...

get one while the car is driving away, under a load. I bet it sounds fantastic!

Can you tell us how you cut the bumper and made it look good? I see Jess mentioning doortrim... but id like more deets!

well we stenciled the left side to get the curve. we made it wide enough for the exhaust, then just flipped it and made the other side the same curve so that it is a mirror image. we taped it off and just eyed and to what we thought looked good. then we used t a rota-zip tool to cut what we had taped off.
and you probably know how the stock hole was rounded off so we just cut the round part so that the hole looked horribly cut haha
we then took a round file and made it look better, then we went and bought some of that door trim (you see it on some cars around the door, most times chrome). we got some black trim and just placed it around the hole and it made it look soo much better. IMO

i will get some more picture to help better explain it tomorrow along with a video of driving away..

I'm still really impressed at the difference that the door trim made. I've seen bumpers cut to fit larger exhaust tips and it usually looks horrible. Dude! I have one of those roto-zip tools and let me tell ya, that thing is incredible! It's like a dremel tool on steroids! Does yours get really hot after using it for a while? I used it to brush some rust off of my brake rotors and it got so hot that I couldn't hold it. I thought the plastic was going to melt.

BTW, the muffler sounds awesome!

yeah i wasnt sure was to expect with the door trim.. it took some work because the bumper plastic is thicker than the metal on the door so we had to work with it a little bit to get it on.
i think it is an awesome tool! it really is a dremel all jacked up on mountain dew! i personally havent used it for longer periods of time, but i can see how it would get hot after longer usage, cause its constantly rotating. like how a car engine gets hot? i guess?

thanks guys! i wasnt sure if it was too ricey and big for the car.

The magnaflow sounds good on the bimmers. It's a nice upgrade for the money. I agree the bumper came out looking good.

The exhaust looks good.

Dremel and Rotozip are both owned by Bosch. My Zip can put out quite a bit of heat when I'm cutting plaster. If your hand is over the vent it'll get very hot as well.

i love it. it seems like it has gotten a bit quieter and deeper... maybe im just getting used to it.

it is just stock cat back, the only thing i had put on was the exhaust.. no change in the tubing.. i would have liked to have gone a little bigger like a 2.5 or 3 but money is a problem at the moment haha

i have been trying to get a roll away video, but when it isnt raining here i am at work and when im not at work it is raining... i just love my luck!
