Nice touch with the door trim, I think bumpers look tacky when they're cut. Can't wait to hear the sound clip, Magnaflows usually sound great on our cars. Best bang for the buck IMO. | | | 06-11-2009, 06:56 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: five0two Posts: 30 | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3S6YUKMsC8w here is the video. the video makes it sound like there is a weird ratcheting sound, but it doesnt have that in person... | | | 06-11-2009, 08:01 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | idle revving does exhausts no justice anyways... get one while the car is driving away, under a load. IMO i will get some more picture to help better explain it tomorrow along with a video of driving away.. | | | 06-12-2009, 04:19 AM | #9 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I'm still really impressed at the difference that the door trim made. I've seen bumpers cut to fit larger exhaust tips and it usually looks horrible. Dude! I have one of those roto-zip tools and let me tell ya, that thing is incredible! It's like a dremel tool on steroids! Does yours get really hot after using it for a while? I used it to brush some rust off of my brake rotors and it got so hot that I couldn't hold it. I thought the plastic was going to melt. BTW, the muffler sounds awesome! | | | 06-12-2009, 04:48 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: five0two Posts: 30 | yeah i wasnt sure was to expect with the door trim.. it took some work because the bumper plastic is thicker than the metal on the door so we had to work with it a little bit to get it on. i think it is an awesome tool! it really is a dremel all jacked up on mountain dew! i personally havent used it for longer periods of time, but i can see how it would get hot after longer usage, cause its constantly rotating. like how a car engine gets hot? i guess? thanks guys! i wasnt sure if it was too ricey and big for the car. | | | 06-12-2009, 05:18 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | The magnaflow sounds good on the bimmers. It's a nice upgrade for the money. I agree the bumper came out looking good. | | | 06-12-2009, 02:19 PM | #12 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Louisville, KY Posts: 2 | Nice Job, Dude! I tell you, whoever helped you do that must be a GENIUS! You guys did a great job! | | | 06-14-2009, 01:33 AM | #13 | Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Fairfield, CA Posts: 93 | The exhaust looks good. Dremel and Rotozip are both owned by Bosch. My Zip can put out quite a bit of heat when I'm cutting plaster. If your hand is over the vent it'll get very hot as well. | | | 06-15-2009, 03:00 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: NJ Posts: 1,625 | looks great!
