Ride 5 got 12psi boost. Very pleased More torque at 12psi then the DASC @ 16psi due to intercooling. Car idles and runs perfect just boost hose issues that I'm going to try to perma fix today | | | 07-23-2009, 01:07 PM | #205 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | don't you want to get a proper dyno tune before you beat on it? __________________ -Jeff | | | 07-23-2009, 01:10 PM | #206 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by Xenocide don't you want to get a proper dyno tune before you beat on it? | Why I have a LM2 logger and can tell what's going on. You may also have more torque at the wheels because generating 12psi of boost with a turbo requires less power than generating 16psi with the SC. Quick Q: sholdn't some of the hoses plugged into the TB should have a check valve so they are pass through only when under vacuum? I'm thinking stuff like break booster, FPR, and such... __________________ 2003 Z4 2.5i 2002 Ducati Monster S4 Last edited by lpcapital; 07-23-2009 at 05:43 PM. | | | 07-23-2009, 06:21 PM | #209 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: MA Posts: 163 | yes they should | | | 07-23-2009, 07:07 PM | #210 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | WAY TO GO JOHN!!! __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
