Default well, it begins

starting to clean out the garage to move in my (i think) 72' 2002
been sitting under a customers carport for 15 years on jackstands.
before they sat it up, my dad rebuilt the transmission completely.

soon it will move into our garage for restoration, im cleaning the garage just for this occasion.

and anyone know of any good 2002 forums or restoration sites?
i have pretty much every manual for them on earth, my dad knows everything about them and i have etk, so im well informed.
just figured id sign up on a forum and let them know what im doing.

and if requested ill take pictures of our gargae that were clearing out which is full of 2002 and 320 parts :P

Cool man, are you doing an "original" restoration are do you have anything special planned for the engine bay? Always loved 2002's, I know you and your dad will have lots of fun over the next few months. Take your time, get everything right. Here's a few 2002's from Bimmerfest '08 to help get you motivated:

hey jess
nothing special, we have some schrick cams and exhaust stuff so maybe just an exhaust, cams, and webbers.
maybe a body kit too, but other than that im going stock perfect restoration.
car has very little rust, just body panel, nothing to frame or anything.

im really looking forward to it, after this im going to restore a 3.0si, its going to be harder because it has some major rust but the time will come when ill figure out what to do with it.

There's another money pit if i may say so myself (the tmaxx).

I can actually see my Tmaxx sitting here at my desk.. One time I let a friend drive it, 80 MPH right into a storm drain.. Sheared just about every screw and bolt holding the bumper, skid plates, bulkheads and chassis. I should really clean it up & sell it and use the money towards my education.. or my car.. :P
