Nice! But instead, I'd paint the roof black to match the hood.

Uh... that's what he said in the first post. You need to brush up on your British English to American English translation skills. LOL

'BOUT TIME SOMEONE NOTICED! I was afraid it had slipped through.

Now, back to the pillars ... euro316, are you talking about the A-pillars, B-pillars, AND C-pillars, or just one or two of them?

What do people think of the black decals on the B-pillars?

Default Black

yes A,B,C pillars would be going all black and if that was the case so would the top of the boot , But where the C pillar is , its going to look weird to join it upto the boot , so i might just go for the roof being black .
Thanks for the replie ,

O and the black decal on door pillar can i remove it and would it look better ? cheers

I'm sure it can be removed easily, but I don't what technique people use. One of my tis has the B-pillar decal, the other doesn't. When I get home tomorrow, I can take a photo of both of them in the same shot, from the same angle and that might help you to decide what looks better. I like both, so I can't really decide.

I've actually been toying with the idea of painting my roof black. Just the roof though, I'd leave the hood and trunk and pillars the same Boston Green that they are now. In addition to the black roof, I'd have the rear windshield tinted and have the top portion of the front windshield tinted as a "visor". That way I would have a solid strip of black running from the rear windshield all the way to the front windshield.

I believe some of the newer M3's sport this type of look. Anyway, that's just my opinion on the whole matter. I do think the red and black looks really good on your car.

Cheers

Boston Green? I have even more reservations about that, but seeing is believing. I can't imagine it looking good, but on Hellrot, I was wrong. I could be wrong again.
