Default Factory radio install question

I'm looking to restore my newly acquired Club Sport to factory.
A very nice member gave me a stock radio several years ago.
It's been sitting on my shelf for this day since I've been too lazy to replace my 96 radio which it was originally intended for.

Anyway...
I pulled the aftermarket radio out.
I'm thankful that is was a clean install using an wiring adapter.

My replacement radio is missing the 2 securing small screws.
I'll pull them off my 96 radio since I was planning on replacing it with a blank DIN panel anyway.

I don't see where the screws would screw into.
Is it held in with pressure?

It should be those tabs on the left and right side. Flip them out to uncover the screw head!

The radio I have is missing the screws. I know they are under the tabs.
I'll pull screws from my other ti.
Just wondered what they screwed into?

Oh my fault! I misread your issue. But in that case, I'm not sure, I just tighten them hoping that some black magic holds the radio in.

Got it sorted.
The screw was in there. Just didn't notice.
It must push something out to secure it to the chassis.

Wink Screw Specs

Do you know the specs on the screws? PO stuck the stock radio back in the dash, but there are no screws. I'm sure I can find them once I know what they are. The joy of my new ride is starting to be overwhelmed by the fear that the radio will zig while the car is zagging
Thanks, jay.
