Well, it looks like my sychros are going bad - fast. My mechanic recommended replacing the entire tranny since my car has 100,000 mi. Does anyone have experience with this problem and know of a good shop to buy a rebuild from?

Thanks!

Dan

I toasted my second gear synchros about a year ago. I found a shop that rebuilt my whole trans for $1000. That was by far the cheapest I found. Good luck.

Edit: looks like this is a little late. But good info none the less.
