Default New DD

Hello all,

Just picked up a 318ti two weeks ago. Manual w/ ~260k miles on it. Previous owner claims the engine was rebuilt at around 100k but he claimed a lot of things. It has a california roof but the gears in the motor are stripped, also the drivers side window won't go down. It has it's fair number of issues, but I couldn't be happier. Fun car to DD.

Top priorities,
Fix roof
Fix window
Get A.C. working
Rebuild/purchase new front calipers. (one seized up and tore the pad to dust).

Motor works, but i'm guessing the gear teeth are stripped, i hear that's a common issue. Trying to take it apart, but proving to be more difficult than i expected.

I'm going to try and rebuild it as a spare, if I decide to part with it instead though, it's going your way.
