I know alot of ppl do not like em, but i do...
And if im going to push the engine hard on a track or something, I cant look down at gauges in the center console. I need em in my sideview.
Anyone else?

I might have to make em myself with glassfiber....

I've heard that people have problems with the shifter blocking guages with that style pod

you may have to fiberglass one since the ti doesn't have much of an aftermarket following and most of the guage pods that replace the whole a-pillar panel are made are for coupes or sedans and don't fit and the a-pillar has an odd shape to it so universal ones won't fit either

Pushing hard on the track means you don't have time to look at a gauge. Get a large LED warning light in your field of vision.

emh, yes im looking at the gauges when im at the track... I dont like the led warnings, I want to have 100% control over whats happening with the engine at all times...
This is because im later going to rebuild the engine and turbo charge it, and then I wont ruin it by not haveing gauges that can tell me whats wrong...

I was thinking of buying a universal one cut it as it fit my a-pillar, then use glassfiber to make a form =)

And yes, Iv heard several telling that the shifter is blocking the gauges in the center console...

My shifter doesn't block my gauges I have in the center console. Then again, I have a different setup than that link. There's pics in one of my posted threads. I've also got the m-roady shifter so that could be why

Here's where you need to get it, http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com, I just got the 2 pod holder for the 328 4 door, remember only the 4 door items will fit your car. Mine fit great and looks good, happy shopping.

No problem, the 4 door A pillars are the same as the 318ti. I have a friend with a 2 door 328is and his wife has a 328i and their both different. Her pillars are the same as mine but his are different. They mount up good and flush with no problem at all. I'm on a goverment computer so I can't post any photos do to being blocked from the pages, but trust me it'll fit great and looks good.
