My name is Steven, im 23 years old and im from The Netherlands. The reason why i bought the TI, is that the first time i saw it, i was like "whoa I never knew BMW made these kind of practical cars". The fact that you don't see them often also made me decide on getting one myself. The car is all original, but im gonna get a few things that will improve the looks of the car, like an M3 bumperset, 17" rims, maybe tinting the back windows (tinting the front is basically illegal here in Holland, they only allow a very small percentage tint). I'm also thinking of removing the trailer hook... It's an early '96 (old type), has 165k km on it (roughly 100k miles), and I love it to death | | | 07-10-2007, 08:56 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Minneapolis Posts: 1,587 | Welcome! If you were in the US, I'd buy that towbar from you in a heartbeat. | | | 07-10-2007, 09:05 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: The Netherlands Posts: 33 | Well i originally liked the fact that it had one, because I got a sparkling new mountainbike half a year ago and a bike thingie to go with it on the car, but that hobby didnt really pick up...so now it justs sits there...being ugly (the towbar) | | | 07-10-2007, 09:07 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 402 | Nice car! Congrats, and welcome! Same here as Cirrus. If you ever want to ship that to the US, let us know. I'd be all over that. That would be great for a little tire/tool trailer going to events. Btw, where did the exhaust go? It usually sticks out beyond the rear bumper, and I can't even see yours. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 07-10-2007, 09:08 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | You could be a real champ and help a group of us out. We are trying to get a speaker adapter, and it is only available in Europe. I can post a few websites that have them in Germany. The cost is around 17 Euros. If we sent you the money, could you get us the adapters? http://www.carhifidirekt.de/catalog/...ducts_id=16523 http://www.powernetshop.at/fahrzeug-...eradapter.html Quote: Originally Posted by GalNa Well i originally liked the fact that it had one, because I got a sparkling new mountainbike half a year ago and a bike thingie to go with it on the car, but that hobby didnt really pick up...so now it justs sits there...being ugly (the towbar) | __________________ 1998 (July) 318ti, 5-spd OEM Armrest Blaupunkt Heidelberg CD50 CD Player/Compact Drive MP3 Player Diamond Audio 5.25" rear speakers Navman ICN 530 GPS BMWALARM.COM (with comfort settings) after market alarm system Magnecor 8.5mm wires M-Z3 Shifter/Momo Knob Burlwood Dashboard Stromung Exhaust X-brace Racing Dynamics Front Strut Bar Carbonio C.A.I. 17" Rial Rims Vader Seats/Heated/Lumbar Support M-tech Steering Wheel/Front Sway Bar/Front & Rear Bumper Depos/w 6500K Angel Eyes/6000K HIDs Clear Corners M3 Mirrors UUC Light Weight Flywheel/M5 Clutch/M3 Clutch Slave E28 3.46 LSD/Mcoupe Cover/E30 Flanges & Halfshafts UUC S.S. I could order them from that store and send them to whoever is interested.
