Default Introducing myself

Hi All,

My name is Kartik and just wanted to introduce myself...
I am a certified Track Addict - have a E30 M3 track rat...
Also have a E34 M5 (supposedly a daily driver)
But now getting into the 318ti - esp considering a swap..

Looking forward to this forum

well welcome to the site there is quite the group of guys in socal with ti's that are actively having meets on a monthly basis.

you should post some pictures of your cars you have now they sound nice!

are you looking to do an s50/52 swap?

I was thinking M54 - trying to minimize the weight change - want to find out how the balance changes as I am considering tracking (this one too )

yeah that would be - Ibut I can only afford two s14's plus I am looking at this one as a daily / light track duty for the time being...

I have a e30 M3 Track rat also building a E30 M3 JP/NASA GTS2 race car so quite obviously have the s14 strain of the track virus

Welcome and hope to meet you personally in one of our meets. We usually have a monthly meet on the second saturday of each month. There are a couple of us that are really considering a swap and we can help each other oput in the process. Once again welcome!!

Nice looking cars. One thing I love about the older E34 M5s is that they really blend in. If it weren't for the badges and wing, you could easily mistake for any other E34, the perfect sleeper car.

No problem Kartik and the next meet is in April, the next meet will be posted on the Socal318ti section under regional forums.

We have attended the cars and coffe in the past, we should make another apearance to represent. In any case we will post it if we go, once again welcome and hope to meet you in person soon.
