Starting help!

PLEASE HELP!

I've got a 1997 318Ti and out of no where it's having starting issues.
When I try to start the car I turn the key and the appropriate lights come on but nothing else happens.
It acts almost like the clutch switch is not working. If I stroke the clutch sometimes (1 in 2x) it will turn over and crank right up.

Any ideas one what this might be?? If it the clutch switch does anyone have any cheap fixes for it?? I need this car for work, so I NEED it to start every time.
