Question taking miles off your car......priceless?

Hey guys! I'm kind of new to this forum and I'm still in the process of buying a ti. So I thought it would be neat to see how much you all valued the miles on these cars.

Tell me what you guys think, how much do you think is mileage worth on a ti, in terms of money? In other words, what would be the MOST you would pay to have your car put into a time machine and miles taken off?

I don't know how to start a poll so these are the choices......

1) Nothing I'm fine with the mileage I have.
2) 1000 miles --- $100
3) 1000 miles --- $500
4) 1000 miles --- $1000
5) 100 miles ---- $1000

Well, mine has a little over 80,000 miles on it, so if I could get it to zero for $8000 that would be a nice deal!

$16,000 - still pretty sweet deal.

Mileage isn't a major factor for me, it's care and maintenance over those miles.

There is somewhat of a guide here:

Just need to update the info.

Low mileage isn't necessarily better.
Rubber cracks just sitting there.

If the car has records, mileage doesn't scare me.

same here, I have a big stack of paper of all the service records from the BMW dealer for my car from when it had 30k or so, I would have had it from when the car is new but the dealer upgraded to a new computer system at some point back then and lost the old records, 128k now and it runs just fine (at least it did when I stopped driving it last year)

I pay gas to put miles on my car. Why would I pay to undrive those miles?

I'm only kidding. Considering I'm just a student, and I really don't have much money, I'd be happy with the miles I have.

Overall, that's really good to hear, that mileage isn't that much of a factor. Currently, I'm driving a civic that has 230,000 miles on it and it has been unbelievably reliable, so high mileage cars don't really scare me. However, I know there are certain models of cars that can turn into major money pits with higher mileage. thanks for your responses so far.

The ti has other issues.

Headliner, loose door panels and crappy window regulators.
The motors are solid.
