Default how do i turn OFF the rear windshield wiper?

i sounds stupid but i cant get it off when i turn it on in the morning...

ha not stupid at all. its a huge pain. i tap the wiper switch twice and it usualy shuts off but im sure someone must have a better way

Just push the switch again. When you first press it, or if you do the washer, it will stay on until you press it again.

It took me years to realize that it does an extra wipe after you turn it off.
It is a poor design.

well i dont think i have ever even used the rear wipers lol

only used the front wipers maybe 3 times!

I drove down the highway for about 10 minutes on a sunny summer with my rear wiper just squeaking against the window because my dad was trying to turn on my cruise control and just started moving the stalks around, the whole time he was looking through the owners manual trying to find out how to turn it off, finally we had to pull over and I found it in less than 30 seconds (for those who can't tell, my dad isn't too smart sometimes )

I used to put the clutch in, turn it off and turn it back on while I drove. LOL Only on straight stretches with no traffic, of course.
