ha not stupid at all. its a huge pain. i tap the wiper switch twice and it usualy shuts off but im sure someone must have a better way __________________

Just push the switch again. When you first press it, or if you do the washer, it will stay on until you press it again. __________________

It took me years to realize that it does an extra wipe after you turn it off.
