DANG DISA

Got a code p1511 code..BMW says DISA electrical. It seems to idle well and pull smoothly thru the RPM range, but its slower than a ford focus. BMW says the disa error wont effect performance???? If I replace the disa will it fix the problem and allow me to pass emissions??? Any help would be swell....

If you fix it and then reset The OBD II system it will no longer register and your check engine light will go off.

Mine appeared this summer, I have my own OBD II code reader so I pulled it then replaced the disa unit. Not exactly fun but wasn't that tough.
