Default New Hatch Owner

Hi guys
Tommy Samuels here. I just picked up a 98 M appearance package with 136k on the clock. She's Boston Green I think with black leather and gray cloth interior.

At this point everything "seems" to work. Dash lights are very dim, so I'll be doing some digging in the knowledge base.

I sold my 96 Z3 with 1.9 a couple of days ago and I have to say the ti is a more comfortable ride. I'm kind of enjoying having a hard roof over my head for the first time in over a decade.

tight lines,
Tommy

Thanks for the welcome. A little more about me.
I like to tinker with my hands. Through the years I've played with cars, boats, motorcycles, woodworking, building furniture, pretty much whatever catches my attention at the time.

Right now I'm working on 2 projects. TETANUS is a Centaur 7 kit styled after a Lotus 7 series 2. Power is Toyota 2TC connected to a 5 speed and a Mazda RX3 rear axle.
Pretty much everything on her is a custom fabrication with hand tools. linkages, brackets, mounts, whatever... they came together in one side of my garage.
Right now I'm waiting on SCDMV to assign a VIN so I can make her legal.

build log is on Locostusa

The other project is a traditionally built tube frame Lotus 7ish car powered by a 2003 Yamaha R1. Still lots to do on this one
