She mentioned she really liked one of the new ones and pointed to my 97 TI. She didn't believe it was 17 years old. Anyway, when the 97 comes up for sale next month, I know I have at least one person interested. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! And I haven't even driven mine yet. Still swapping the engine out. Most tis go for 2-3000 in okay shape in my area. You can buy a a running e46 for those prices. | | | 06-18-2014, 06:46 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | I had a kid where I fish ask if I wanted to sell my California ti recently. He stated that his sister had one back in 1998. He loved riding in it and now wants one for himself. Good to see interest in these cars. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 06-19-2014, 03:30 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Ti's are unique BMW's. A future classic? I think the cheap interior may drag to model down some over time. | | | 06-19-2014, 03:42 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: NJ Posts: 373 | Lots of people say they love my Ti whenever I autocross it. Is it competitive? Not particularly. But boy is it fun with that E30 rear suspension! It would be nice to see the prices level off around the $5k mark. Would make selling mine a whole lot easier. __________________ 2000 M5 -> 1996 318ti -> 1997 328i Instagram: ndrewchow YouTube: MINIzguy | | | 06-20-2014, 03:17 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | $5k will fetch a nicely kept 100K mileage example right now.
