Default 6cyl MPG

There has been a recent explosion of people doing swaps with various engines, whats everyones MPG figures looking like. Post your package, your engine, engine mods, differential, and wheel size.


1997 OBDI Converted M50 Non-vanos
A/C, P/S, ACS Delete
OBDII Headers
2.25" True Dual catless exhaust
Non-bmw fuel filter, Lines, and pump
M44 Flywheel
3.45 Open diff
17x8 Miglias @ 21lbs per rim

I average about 330-350 miles which is about 25-27mpg depending on the driving style.

1996 OBDII 328 complete
18 X 18.5 @ about 20-25lbs
Custom magnaflow exhaust with cat install still
Gas average is about 375-400.

Big bore throttle body
Z3 2.8 mid section & Eisenmann backbox
Custom Remap
stock 3.38 open diff.
17x8.5 Alpinas

about 28mpg for mixed driving (motorway/town)
(that's around 25mpg with US gallons)

1997 S52 3.2
Pretty stock-ish
A/C delete (currently)
track pipe w/ Supersprint can (currently -- cat is going on soon)
stock 3.45 diff (3.23 waiting to be installed)
M3 staggered DSII's (17")

About 25mpg mixed driving with my heavy foot, I peak at 29mpg strictly highway -- hoping the 3.23 will squeeze a few more out
