Changing Dashlight colour

Hey there.

I'm in the middle of doing the 'change the colour of the LED's ' mod, and have already finished with the window/sunroof switches and cig lighter/ashtray. (killed 4 LEDs in the process. hehehe)

next is the clock, which shouldn't be too hard.


I'm just wondering, Are the lights behind the dashboard, actual globes or LEDs?
I want to change the colour of hte dials from the STD yuckky orange to blue to match the rest of my centre console. (yes, the option of changing the dials to those electroluminecsent dials has crossed my mind, but i can't afford those just yet)

They're regular 1.2w bulbs... however they're clear, it's the actual dials that are tinted amber.

What color are you going to?

oh well, the rest of my console will be a nice cool blue.. to match my head unit

Just wondering has anybody tried new dials like the EL glow ones? If so how easy are they to fit?

I was looking at thoes, IDK tho ebay is shifty

If its from Ebay, id say stay away from it. I bought one for my crx...didnt fit at all. The holes didnt precisely match up and it wasnt pretty in the end. I ended up taking it out like an hour after i put it in.
