Installing a ZF from a E36 M3. Anyone know if the clutch slave cylinder is the same or will I need one from a ZF? The only reason to change it would be if you went with a different clutch. Rookie98 just put a ZF in his Ti, perhaps you could shoot him a PM. I have both trannys sitting in my garage, but it would be a PITA for me to check the slave cylinders at the moment. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 12-03-2008, 07:50 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Land of the Vikings Posts: 2,700 | 21521159045 is the number for the slave that fits from 316 to 328i models 21526775924 is the number for the US M3 3.0 & 3.2 __________________ Vin Number decode and Retrofit Pdfs Available Free ! Now how about transmission mounts and trans crossmember. Will my Getrag cross-member fit and trans mounts fit too. I run the E21 320i cali stiff mounts which are not off-set I just got everything off the crate and it looks real clean. Minor cleaning needed but no oil leaks and all linkages have good bushings. I'm glad it all came from a 328I since M3 parts seem to get beat on more. Give me a list and il get the details | 1997 E36 318is is my car. The parts came from a 1998 E36 328i. The axle shafts are unknown but fit. Everything fits but I'm not sure about the mounts from a ZF trans and cross-member since I didn't get them from the 328i. I will have the Getrag out of the car by noon so I can put the trans side by side and figure it out. I have lots of aluminum stock and a TIG so I can make something if needed.
