Default what shifter linkage/carrier to use for m52/zf trans

what shifters assemblies are you swapped guys using.

im having issues my shifter is very sloppy and also im having a hard time getting it into reverse it just keeps hitting the shifter console

im have an m52/zf trans,i believe that i have a m3 carrier and linkage and aftermarket short shifter.

any one else have the same issue?

i will appreciate the help

I put a SS kit on and replaced most of the bushing in there except for the one on the selector rod which i have sitting in my cupholder, and shes still a bit sloppy. If you havn't done the selector rod bushing i hear that is the key as there is a little foam piece that goes sour after a bit.

I will hopefully be doing mine today, i will get back to you with how it feels.

i even had to bend the selector rod in the middle but still is very sloppy even when its in gear ..it feels like it were in neutral

I have a UUC Evo 3 with a DSSR and it shifts smooth but it's really direct. And when you speed shift. It's like notchy. It's cool haha.
