I am in the market for a sedan and would like some opinions on which is a better vehicle. I am considering the Audi A4 3.0L, Infinity G35 or a '03-'04 5 series (530i or 540i) or maybe something comparable to these picks.
I need a little more room now that we have a little one to tote around (Hopefully I can pass my ti down to him and keep it in the family). Any comments? Thanx. __________________

Audi's tend to have higher maint. costs-->more **** breaks! if you're gonna buy used..... __________________

I would probably go with the 530, the 540 I have heard can be a pig on gas. The 525 and 530 are supposed to be much better. For a tall person like myslef, the steering wheel didnt go veryu high even with the seat all the way back, it sits on my knees. Its a nice ride though, if your really interested, go for it! Get the 540 with the sport package (6-speed) if you can find one (check Roundel ads).
If you like the feel of the ti, you will be disappointed with the Audi's handling. I think it's just not as good as the BMW's (provided they both have equal condition suspension- if the Audi is new, and the BMW has 80K miles, the Audi may feel better).

The A4 and G35 are more of 3-series competitors, the 5 series is gonna be a slightly larger car. __________________ RIP
