Damn bro that is "tits" I watched that like 5 times for the full effect. You are flying.

Danny (blowin 4) and all others that think our I-4's are making so much HP need to look at these videos to see what it is like to run in just the 11's.

I know & have owned a 9's car so I know. I bet you are now addicted to vitiman "G"

Best, John Smith

The silly part is: I'm a bad driver. My 60' on that run was 2.096. My best ever is a 1.9xx. This car is in the 10's with proper tire/driver.

It's definitely a blast to drive. Last time I brought a spare with me, this time I left it at the shop. (weight savings!) I took absolutely no tools with me, no spare tire, nothing. Drove it to and from the track (40 miles each way). No issue. I Love this car.

Need More!

Building another motor right now for more boost.

Goal is 10.9 @ 135 mph. This motor is probably capable of the 10 second time, but I want to try and max this turbo out on pump gas.

Hey I noticed on your run it seems your windows are down? If they are? put them up and of course a/c off and you will pick up some ET. Also what A/R is your turbo? it spools much earlier then mine...Just a question on exhaust a/r for my knowledge?

What engine management are you running? Can you run a WOSB with your engine management? It would cut your ET's by 1/2 second or more with your current setup

Meth shot and you can run pump gas and squeeze an extra 10 psi of boost on pump gas. Meth is like 118 octane plus cooling...

I open the windows after I cross the line. (because I currently have no AC!)

A/R is .58 Went as small as possible for early spool.

I'm running a stock 413 Red lable DME! Mike Radowski used my car as a test mule. I was the first car he played around with on an OBD1 DME. Far as I know, it's the last one. He's not going to pursue it. Not sure what a WOSB is.

I don't want to run Meth. I'm trying to keep this set up as basic as possible. Meth is just one more thing to go wrong (and tank to fill) That feeling might change as I get further up the boost line. In fact, next time I go to the track, I'm not going to run any 103 either. Just 93!

What the hell... that's ridiculous! Congrats! That's insane for a sub 3L motor build + turbo and no meth/nitrous.

Cool cool. WOSB is a wide open shift box. It lets you just keep the gas pedal down and shift without lifting. I don't think it can be run with a BMW DME without code mod. I'm looking into it. The issue is when the WOSB cuts spark and fuel for the shift it causes error codes in the DME, the big one is the mis-fire code which can cause a limp for a few seconds. The WOSB is proven to cut ET on turbo manual shift car by 1/2 second or more so I'm really looking into getting one working on my car.

I run a .63 a/r so my spool starts at 2,800 and all in by 3,400. I think I might try a smaller turbo to see if it helps. I'm not sure since my I-4 needs those high revs to make power and my motor makes it's power between 3,200-8,000.

Killer video and runs man. Maybe a line-lock so you can load the clutch and drive-train and maybe spool a little to cut that 60' time. My 60' are like 2.6 seconds due lack of spool or if I spool I get bad tire spin.

I like the idea of a WOSB, but I'm just trying to keep this simple. My friend is all about technology on his (insane) e30. He's an electrical engineer, so he likes to constantly tinker.. but it never seems to run "right"! Plus, I like to just practice and try to become a better driver.

I load the drive-train with the e-brake. I'm ridding the clutch on the launch in the video from about 5k. Once I get the last yellow light I drop the e-brake and start letting the clutch out more.

If/when I get the launch down, I'm sure I'll need to do the Mcoupe rear end swap. Hopefully I get there soon! I think messing with the video camera takes some of my attention/focus away from what I need to be doing at the tree.

I saw the E-brake on at the tree so that is one way to do it. You claim your are a bad driver but I've seen your slips and some of your reaction times are killer. Like you I always leave as soon as the last yellow comes on and it normally gets me a good reaction time.

I will stop trying to school you or offer advise since I think you already know way more then you take credit for. Your Bimmer is straight up bad ass and I really admire what you are doing. That is a total street car and will be in the 10's with no problem. That is a big feat to do that and most people don't understand what it takes to do something like this. Congrads
