Default HID Kit group buy

Guys,

My contacts got back to me. We need at least 15 orders for this. The more we get, the less expensive they are. Shipping from China for a small order is killer. I suggest you get a kit for every car at these prices.

They have only a 15 month warranty, but instead of having to send the kit back, all you have to do is send a picture of it not working and they'll ship one directly to you. No cost to you if it is broken.

Anyway, here's what it comes down to with 15 signed up:

For 35 watt kits, single bulb (ie, H1, 9006, 9005, H7, etc.):
$63 per kit + s/h (I would imagine less than $10)

For 55 watt kits, single bulb:
$82 per kit + s/h

Last time we did this, I ended up being able to send via USPS flat rate, which I think is now $10.35 per box.

With 25 signed up:

For 35 watt kits, single bulb (ie, H1, 9006, 9005, H7, etc.):
$58 per kit + s/h (I would imagine less than $10)

For 55 watt kits, single bulb:
$77 per kit + s/h

With 40 signed up:

For 35 watt kits, single bulb (ie, H1, 9006, 9005, H7, etc.):
$54 per kit + s/h (I would imagine less than $10)

For 55 watt kits, single bulb:
$75 per kit + s/h

With 50 signed up:

For 35 watt kits, single bulb (ie, H1, 9006, 9005, H7, etc.):
$51 per kit + s/h (I would imagine less than $10)

For 55 watt kits, single bulb:
$69 per kit + s/h

So, let's try to get as many as possible.

Bulb sizes available: H1, H3, H4 single, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H13, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007.

Color temps: 3000k, 4300k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k, 10000k, 12000k

This kit, is this the "angel eyes" headlights? Does it include the whole lamp? I am a bit unsure of what this is. Sorry for the noobish questions, but I am new.

I'm willing to wait to get 50 people signed up. If you post this up on bimmer forums, I'm sure you'll get quite a few people too.

HID's are High Intensity Discharge bulbs, used instead of halogen bulbs, with higher output (2-3x) and longer life (2-3x). This isn't a set of headlight housings but rather a set of bulbs.

Me too, I am in no hurry. I don't like BF.com. Last time I tried to get a group buy going the admins messaged me telling me I had to be one of their sponsored resellers. Screw that, they're obviously not in it for the forum member but rather for themselves. I don't have the $1000+ to become a sponsor just so I can get a good deal on headlights for myself and my fellow forum members.

Oooh I saw the alibaba website when I was looking for new sun visors for the vert. Stupid BMW, the glue melts inside the visors and then you can't slide open the covers to the mirrors. Why are they so cheap on stuff like visors, mirrors and window regulators?

The best thing to do is click on the small red triangle with an exclamation point that's at the bottom left of every post. That will report that post and a mod can deal with it.
