Default Powerflex carrier bushings

Hello. I got these Powerflex bushes. After a long time, while i wanted to put them on the car, i and my mechanic noticed these are for E30. The part number is PFR5-305, while it should be PFR5-311 for the compact and Z3. Will these fit WITHOUT mods and absolutely correct? Please help! I measured the metal sleeve length/height of the stock carrier bushings and it is 85mm while the sleeve in the powerflex bushes is 81mm.

No. They will not work. I had the same issue with the Ireland Engineering subframe bushings. I ended up having to cut the inner metal sleave a little bit and I had to do a counter-sunk hole in the top of the bushing.

The bottom of the chasis on the E30 where the subframe mounts is completely flat. On the Ti there is a bolt that protrudes down. The subframe bushing should fit around that bolt so that the top ring of the bushing sits flush against the chasis.

As those bushings are flat on the top they will not sit flush against the chasis.

The IE bushings were a two piece bushing that was very easy to modify to make it work. IE gave me the exact measurements to make the modification. That bushing looks like it would be a lot harder to modify.

E30 center metal thing should be longer, not shorter. I had to cut the metal bar to get it to fit. But as my bushing was a completely different design, it may not be the same situation as yours.
