The time has come where I have to part ways with my ti. I just bought a new car and cannot afford to keep both. I bought this car in the summer of 2005 with 99k on the odometer. I've driven it pretty lightly for the past 7 years and it now has 139k. It has been a very reliable car over the years and I have put a lot of money into it and I hope to pass it on to someone who will appreciate and take care of it. I will do my best to cover all aspects of the car honestly. I'm sure there will be some things I forget so feel free to ask any questions. I will also try to post as many pictures as possible this weekend. It is a 1995 Club sport model. 5 speed manual transmission. Red millpoint interior. 139k on the clock. Inspected through January 2014. Body - This car is by no means a show car. It has lived in New England most its life so the body and paint do show their signs of wear. The rear wheel wells have rust bubbles that are starting to show through to the surface. The paint's clear coat is starting to chip in several places (roof, mirrors, front fenders). Rock chips on front bumper. The nose panel and grills are a little bit off from being bumped by people trying to parallel park in Boston. There is also a door ding on the passenger side door. Interior - Overall the interior is in pretty good shape. The front seats are a little worn on the leather side bolsters. The red millpoint cloth is still in good shape with not rips or tears but is in need of a good cleaning. The rear seats are in great condition. The headliner and cloth on the pillars are starting to sag. The top of the steering wheel is worn down. Driver side floor mat is also worn. New head unit put in last summer. Engine - The engine still runs as strong as the day I got it. Oil changes have been done regularly since I have owned to car. Radiator and cooling system were redone in 2010. I have a folder with most of the receipts of work that has been done. Mods - Supersprint exhaust ACS replica spoiler Rokkor coilover suspension system (I also have some other parts such as new front control arms and tie rods that will also be included in sale) History - In the 7 years that I have had the car I have been in 1 minor accident. I was stopped at an intersection and a guy merged into my driver's side rear wheel well from the left lane. The damage was professionally repaired at a local collision shop and they repainted the whole rear panel of the car. Needs to be fixed - Air conditioning blows warm. I had it recharged and it blew cold for a few days then went back to blowing warm air. I assume there is a leak somewhere but I haven't got around to finding out where. Headliner and pillars are sagging. Windshield wiper fluid does not spray. Fog light clamps are broken. I have replacements along with new fogs. Passenger door outside handle is broken. You can open the door from the inside but not outside. This also prevents the passenger window from going down. The window works but something from the broken door handle is blocking it from going down more than a few inches. Also, the driver side window works but does not make a perfect seal when it is put all the way up. The car is available to be seen and test driven by serious parties in Rhode Island. I understand that this car is nowhere near perfect so I am looking to get $3000 for it which is feel is pretty reasonable. Feel free to PM or call me if you have any additional questions or would like to come take a look at it. I will get more pictures and some interior shots up this weekend. Pretty much what I would be looking for. Wish I was in the right time to buy and it was closer. Good luck on your sale. __________________ | | | 06-16-2012, 01:09 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Could you provide a few pictures of the interior? | | | 06-17-2012, 03:08 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Boston MA Posts: 135 | Will do.
