These were too harsh for my wife's taste and were replaced with Bilstein/BavAuto combo for softer ride. I don't have exact numbers on the drop, but it was pretty low, somewhere along the H&R Race range. Definitely not friendly for Boston roads, so plan accordingly if you have crappy roads where you live. I would not suggest using these with OEM Sport shocks; Bilstein Sports or similar should be used. Price is $100 plus UPS shipping. Local pickup is welcomed. Thanks! | | | 06-19-2006, 06:04 AM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: montreal Posts: 10 | its fk spring you want to sale or fk spring with shocks ?? im interested ... can you ship in canada and $$ | | | 06-19-2006, 01:54 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 65 | Springs only. Shocks were shot, so they were thrown away. Yes, I can ship to Canada. | | | 06-19-2006, 05:32 PM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: montreal Posts: 10 | the fk spring is more low than h&r spring how much you whant for shipping | | | 06-19-2006, 06:53 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 208 | Don't FK kits come with a lifetime warranty? I think you could have had a new set for free instead of tossing them. | | | 06-19-2006, 07:03 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 65 | Quote: Originally Posted by takeoner the fk spring is more low than h&r spring how much you whant for shipping | As I said, I didn't measure exact drop, but it was too low for Boston's roads -- read: "2 wrecked M3 bumpers kind of low" -- so out they went and more conservative setup went in. I still have the FK shocks/struts in case anoyone wants to persue the "lifetime" warranty route. Shipping will be $25 flat in ContiUS via UPS or USPS Ground. Sorry, scrap metal guy picked up shocks/struts alreday, so they're gone. | | | 06-19-2006, 11:50 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Southern California Posts: 208 | I'm not interested in buying them, I just though FK susuension kits came with a lifetime warranty - so I think you may have scrapped them when you could have had a new set for free. | | | 06-20-2006, 04:16 AM | #12 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 65 | Quote: Originally Posted by wasabinuki I'm not interested in buying them, I just though FK susuension kits came with a lifetime warranty - so I think you may have scrapped them when you could have had a new set for free. | Thanks for the thought anyway, apreciate it. Setup was too stiff to my taste anyway, so it's not terribly missed. Springs are still available, by the way, no payment has been recieved so far despite lots of interest. | | | 06-20-2006, 05:13 AM | #13 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 65 | FWIW, I will do an even trade for the following item(s): - x-brace - strut brace - CAI with heat shield - Midnight Autoworks supercharger | | | 06-20-2006, 05:53 PM | #14 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: montreal Posts: 10 | i go to bank and pay by paypal; after you write sold and say to me with usps or ups shipping . | | | 06-20-2006, 06:00 PM | #15 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 65 | Quote: Originally Posted by takeoner i go to bank and pay by paypal; after you write sold and say to me with usps or ups shipping . | Shipping is flat $25 via UPS Ground in Continental US. Total would be $125 shipped.
