I've heard that the fit and finish on the Seibon hoods is pretty poor. Most BMW people stay away from Seibon and go with MA Shaw for quality carbon fiber parts. But I guess this comment doesn't help as you already bought it.

Not a huge fan of that style but it could be worse. Please tell me your going to paint it. __________________

What happens when it rains and the water goes through the mesh part on the hood???????? Does it just let water in the engine bay?????? __________________

Yup. That type of hood design originally came from true racing cars that needed to vent heat from the engine compartment. Specifically high horsepower turbo'd cars. I think Bimmerworld has a e36 wagon that they put a monster turbo system into, and they needed this type of hood to keep the temps down. In a street car I would try to work out some kind of underhood panel to get the water to drain away from any critical components...
