Octane Booster???

Hey,.. I have recently obtained a few bottles of STP Performance Octane Boost. I was wondering is I should put this stuff in my Ti. I realise that I drive a Beamer and that I don't want to screw it up! Does anyone know if this will affect performance and is it worth a shot??

It will probably give a little bump in HP region. On Bimmer Forums there are a number of guy that Toulene which is a paint thiner that has been prove to boost Octane ratings by 10 -15 points. Most of the guy are FI, guys but they swear by the stuff.

Is their any chance that I may damage my motor with this stuff?? A buddy of mine blew his motor in his civic when using 2 bottles of this stuff.

I would not exceed what the instructions say. If they say one bottle can treat 20 galons do not put two bottles in a 10 gallon tank.

i had 115 octane on my car with the supercharger noting did damage my motor

I have run 110 octane race gas with no problems and a hell of a difference in performance with no problems but i also have straight pipes.
