OUCH!!!!!! Ok so story of my life got stuck half day because i stripped one brass bolt took a couple hours to go find an imperial socket thanks to dear old dad he had some spare tool sets lying around picked it up took out the extractors and WHAT!!!!!!! no leaks cracks etc. I checked the rest of the exhaust system found two broken bushings midway over the catback area changed those (fixed the rattle) moved over to the front and well what do you know the leak... Joint from extractors to exhaust dump major carbon residue FML spent the whole day opening the wrong thing. Fixed that now have to re install the extractors. Should be done by 5pm... Sigh* I should make a freaking diary | | | 11-22-2012, 07:26 AM | #2768 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Scranton/Wilkes-barre area PA Posts: 454 | Dropped my front coilovers down two inches... just in time for winter __________________ ***Derek*** ^^Lola^^ Pioneer radio/ Pioneer 6-Disk CD Changer/ JBL 601.1 Grand Touring Amplifier/ Bilstein Sport shocks/ Bilstein e36sedan springs/ Green LED Courtesy Lights Accident Counter: 3... | | | 11-23-2012, 06:24 AM | #2769 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Detroit Posts: 164 | Quote: Originally Posted by rochey6957 Dropped my front coilovers down two inches... just in time for winter | Snow plow mode ENGAGE | | | 11-23-2012, 06:30 AM | #2770 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Santa Rosa, CA Posts: 407 | Today I discovered that you can simply reach in through the open hatch to pop the rear windows open. I've been doing it the hard way this whole time, wresting around the front seats to get to it. Doh! Still not used to this whole hatchback thing, perhaps __________________ 1997 318ti 5-speed Moreagrün 1996 318ti auto Hellrot (retired) | | | 11-23-2012, 03:23 PM | #2771 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by Coyoteh Today I discovered that you can simply reach in through the open hatch to pop the rear windows open.
