We will be copying that plate soon and selling them. No idea on price yet though...

Does anyone have a good contact for Rotrex chargers? In Japan they're super expensive

A few months ago I stumbled upon a supercharger kit for the M44 put together by GKD (http://www.gkdsportscars.com/) on ebay. They're apparently a bit of a kit-car company that uses BMW powertrains . I did e-mail the guy to ask if they had any more kits they were willing to sell, but have not heard back. I may try again and see if I get a response and maybe some more info on the design. They may have some insight on a good way to machine an adapter plate like we're talking about in here.

I was wrong, it's not a flange like we're talking about here, but they put together a new plenum. Still interesting though and looks in the realm of DIY.

So the dude at GKD actually got back to me this weekend. It sounds like they're still in the process or finalizing their design, but they have some to offer via eBay:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-Seri...tem19e2f789cb>

These are only for RHD cars though. He did say they are working on a kit for LHD cars, but need someone with an M44 for a test fit. I'd gladly help out, but I'm in the US. Maybe one of you guys in the UK have a LHD car? If so, maybe shoot the guy Peter an e-mail at GKD.

yeah, the booster being on the other side makes the radius for the intake much easier....

i'm working on getting an inlet mocked up and will be taking some pics of the process. looks to me that i will need to cut the housing and weld some flanges on the housing and inlet tubes.

pics will be a part of the process of course.

will be slow though, as i am busy with work and such....
