Hey JCA, Thanks for the info. Gonna wait till it gets warmer before I attempt to remove anything that keeps the weather out.
I have been driving this since it had 52K about 13 years ago (It's a 95) It runs so well that I keep replacing things like mats and shift boots. All this in spite of the fact that it has just under 195K now. Yeh it has issues.

You know when:
1. After the front gets smashed by a 2013 Dodge Ram and you take the "totaled" insurance money and put on new M3 Bumper, Angle Eyes, 17" Wheels. etc and then all your Buddies say how cool your car looks now.
2. You keep replacing the blown Rear Speakers until you finally put in a Subwoofer.

When you buy a 2nd ti just in case something happens to the 1st.
And still look at classified for others.

There's a 98 Dakar Yellow Active I want.

Update on the new Turtle Wax product, "Black Tire Coat". I applied it to my tires and to my base model rubber side molding. Works great on tires, but I won't use it again on the molding. It dries very glossy, but does not soak in at all. Flakes off the molding easily. I finally ended up sanding the rubber molding vigorously with 1000 grit auto sand paper. Doing this removes a hardened and oxidized layer of the rubber molding allowing a protectant like Armor All to soak in resulting in a dark, shiny finish. Looks almost like new molding and is much cheaper than buying new molding. The process also worked will for the wider bumper molding as well. Cheers, John

I thought of that too. As often as the panels come off to fix the windows, you might as well leave them off.

When you literally spend hours on the net trying to find a parcel shelf or real Mtech rear spoiler...

When your favorite ti has a place in the garage.
Your 2nd favorite ti stays in the driveway when it snows.
The E30 is truly the winter beater because you don't care.

You still look at ti want ads knowing damn well that you'll be sleeping in it if you bring another home. (Looks like I said this one already.)

Every ti is a project car.

You own a 95, 96 and now want a 97, 98 and 99 to complete the set.

Is there therapy we can get into? I do like my 318's ahead of my 540it and 325i. You nailed the parking arrangements, although I still love my E30 318ic parked on the street...

Check Bav Auto recycling for a parcel shelf. I picked up a sand colored one for my previous 95 there and fabric sprayed it dark grey. As for the M spoiler, I picked up one from a wrecker in the UK and another from Roy C on the east coast. About $125 for each plus shipping. They can be found. Still haven't decided to install it or not. Further down my project list.
